Retail poisoning is a series of workshops and resulting interventions and hacking in public and digital space.
Retail poisoning is an act of intended (de)placement. It stands in direct opposition to a consumer-oriented society that relies on mass production and is ultimately responsible for the destruction of the planet. It challenges marketing language and corporate communication and shows their contradictions and dangerous manipulations. Retail poisoning disrupts consumption by deliberately placing critical, controversial or manipulated information or objects in online commerce and at real points of sale.
