For the 27th edition of “BRDG”, Dušica Dražić investigates the connection between citizen & city. With the railway being an obstruction in between Zurenborg and Berchem, the bridge under the railroads is thé shortcut, connecting both parts of Antwerp. Its location influences how people move through space. Dušica Dražić adds another formal element in this tunnel, also influencing movements. A geometrical wooden construction, reminding of an architectural element. The object changes place throughout the exhibition duration and plays a game with the perception of regular passengers, forcing them to constantly rethink their interaction with the space.
