Elian Chali

Elian Chali lives and works as visual artist in Buenos Aries, Argentina. His minimalistic murals – mostly composed of the primary colors – are inspired by the urban context around them. Architecture, climate, the socio-political environment all these inputs are channeled by Chali into his abstract and geometric compositions. “The city” becomes a recurring and central motive in Chali´s work. Through his painting and photography Chali seeks to establish a resonance with social matters and the poetry of their urban surroundings.
