Interventionists are lurked towards the seaside of Belgium, by ‘The Crystal Ship’. The yearly occurring public space expo, had its first edition in 2016. Ever since Ostend is reinvented yearly by creative thinkers and artists experimenting with new ways to engage with the urban (or the not so urban in some cases). The curator Bjørn Van Poucke mentions how The Crystal Ship aims to return art to the people. The contributions exist out of a mixture of styles and techniques and are all permanent contributions to the city of Ostend.
