Visionäre Ruinen / 242 Titel besser als Martin Kippenberger

As part of an artistic protest against the repression of drug addicts from Frankfurt’s railway station district, the Frankfurt Hauptschule collective left a burnt-out police car in public space and filmed how pedestrians react to the car. In addition to a video entitled “242 Titel besser als Martin Kippenberger”, the collective presented the recording of pedestrians handling the burned police car during the 2018 Rundgang at Städelschule. At the time, the public reacted partly fascinated and partly shocked by the action. The police car was parked in the parking lot of the Städelschule for the duration of the tour.
