Hay Rack

Anonymous and illegal intervention in public space in Amsterdam. The artist works on the notion of ‘place’ in the contemporary city, the behaviour of individuals or groups, and the conflicts of interests in public space. The installation „Hay Rack“ was realised in a 19th century neighbourhood in Amsterdam. The artist refers to it by bringing back a feeding side for horses, that might have marked 19th-century public space, into the contemporary neighbourhood.
