Hell’O Monsters

Hell’O Monsters is the creative result of the get together between Jerôme Meyden and Antoine Detaille. This duo from Brussels creates poetic imaginary sceneries, without depth in the designs they feel as geometrical versions of Hieronymous Bosch’s paintings. In their recent works they more and more, even though Graffiti was the starting point of the collective, find the way to the gallery space and the canvas. In the worlds they present humans, animals and object collide into monster-like creatures. However due to the happy colors and figurative (innocent) approach the dark, macabre side of their works are contrasted.
