Dušica Dražić

As a Curator and Artist Dušica Dražić investigates space, with a special attraction to places branded by their irregularities, flexibility. The political and cultural aspects of space and place are of importance, just as the architectural and its often hidden hints towards society. She transforms public spaces in her investigations, by adding details, constructions and switching around the balance of how an environment is perceived. She is an artist, in the same way as she would be an archeologist, digging. Whether the dust of the collection of the Swedish Museum of History is her subject matter or the public abandoned space, history is key in her poetic and conceptual sculptural approach.
