In the self-published catalogue ‘A non-exhaustive selection of freestyles’, Eyes-B provides us with his method of working in his subtitle: ‘rhythm, silence, repetition, break, dynamism’. This catchy phrase describes his relation to music and how he freestyles/composes Graffiti pieces, lead by this music. In the thin booklet works are presented from the time period of 2013-2017 and besides location and year, little information is provided.The works aren’t organized chronologically. All 27 works, included in the publication, are presented by two images: a full view of the particular work, showing its surroundings and a zoomed image focussing on the detailed structures he improvises. In the end we are given more context, in a short teaser-text about Eyes-B’s practice and inspirations.
