Mark Gmehling

In the beginning of his artistic carrier Mark Gemehling was concentrating mainly of the use of spray cans. His works were glaring, flashy and subversive. During his studies on visual communication and design at the Technical University of Dortmund he discovered a new tool which had a great impact of the further evolution of his arts: translating his motives into 3D modelling using the application Cinema 4D. The tool helped him to develop further his plastic approach on “style writing” and (apparently comic inspired) painting combining figurative themes and typography.
