Chapter 20 of Le M.U.R Brussels. Steve Locatelli adds one of his universal skull figures to the billboard at Place d’Espagne, where it will be overpainted exactly one month later. In ‘Y D E N T Y T Y’  a stretched and tilted version of Locatelli’s recurring painted skull is only partly visible, it is framed to match the given surface of 3 x 9 m. His works are often full of color, here the pink dominates the available surface. Locatelli builds up his figures out of shapes, merging together, balancing somewhere in between the abstract and the real. Close by the abstract takes over and distanced the real.
